RAKSHABANDHAN - KAL AAJ AUR KAL

Rakshabandhan is round the corner , the markets decorated with various stalls adorned with beautiful ,  colourful rakhis. The shops shouting out The Rakhi offers , the hoardings displaying Kolkatta Rakhi , Rajasthani Rakhi n blah blah that brain starts doing somersaults inside the head .  Does anybody differentiate or is an expert on recognising the particular Rakhi , Well I am not . My earliest memory of Rakshabandhan is the DD national playing the songs " Mere bhaiya mere Chanda  " and " Phoolon ka taaron ka sab ka kehna hai " on the most awaited Chitrahaar which used to be aired on Wednesday and Friday .  While listening to these songs I used to wonder that such loving siblings actually existed🤔. Me and my brother used to create a daily Mahabharata series at our home , our weapons ( bat , broom , etc etc ) putting real Mahabharata's weapons to shame . Me and mera Bollywood

The world has changed, the technology upgraded ,the fads are different now . People talk about Hollywood , have seen all sequels of Fast and Furious and XXX .  The new fad is now not watching your favourite series on television ( very LS ) ,when it's streaming on net or watching your favourite movie on the tiny viney screen of your mobile. Amidst all this changing technology , I maintain I am a diehard Bollywood buff , I love Bollywood . I talk Bollywood (I mean it) , the Bollywood dialogue erupting out of my Bollywood inclined mind on drop of a hat at a particular situation. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!
