Sometimes,about few things even google is not always right . You don't believe me and will say she definitely is amateurish but guys try to google search for first ever war,it will give u a blah blah and blah list. Poor google doesn't know the first probable war that ever happened in past, still happening and God knows will never cease to happen would be THE WAR OF A MIL AND DIL, period.

So lets take a voyage to the diaries of the Oberois,Mrs Oberoi (Sr.) and Mrs. Oberoi ( Jr.) , the quintessential Mil and Dil.

Picture this :

Morning time , kitchen of Oberois.

Mrs. Oberoi( Sr) : Got up beta , it's already 10:00 darling .

Mrs Oberoi ( Jr) :OMG, Mom,we need to get an appointment from Dr Malhotra..

Mrs. Oberoi ( Sr ) : Arre Bhai ,Why?

Mrs.Oberoi (Jr) : Coz mom,the clock is showing 9:00 and you are seeing 10:00, so need to get your eyes checked na , we love you a lot.

Mrs. Oberoi (Sr) is furious,now she needs artillery to combat this attack.

Mrs. Oberoi(Sr): How was the party yesterday?

Mrs Oberoi (Jr) : It was good , but food was average there.

Mrs. Oberoi(Sr) : I bet their average food would have  been  better than your best cooked meal and don't mind beta,it's just a suggestion so that you can improve🔫🔫

Mrs Oberoi(Jr): Ofcourse mom I know what u mean , when u say don't mind 🙄

Mrs Oberoi (Sr) : What  my Raja Beta would take in breakfast?

Mrs Oberoi (Sr): A glass of hor water with lemon, your Raja beta had few drinks more than his appetite yesterday,mom. I drove back from party last night.

Raja beta ,enters precisely at that moment.

Mrs Oberoi (sr): Raja beta shall I make paranthas for you,it's Sunday!

Mrs Oberoi (Jr) : Honey, aren't you on diet ,shall I make salad for u.

Raja Beta :I am going out for breakfast with my friends.

Raja beta runs away and no scope for both ladies to decide who won the final battle, nevertheless this is some never ending war , abhi nahi to kabhi fir.😊

RAKSHABANDHAN - KAL AAJ AUR KAL

Rakshabandhan is round the corner , the markets decorated with various stalls adorned with beautiful ,  colourful rakhis. The shops shouting out The Rakhi offers , the hoardings displaying Kolkatta Rakhi , Rajasthani Rakhi n blah blah that brain starts doing somersaults inside the head .  Does anybody differentiate or is an expert on recognising the particular Rakhi , Well I am not . My earliest memory of Rakshabandhan is the DD national playing the songs " Mere bhaiya mere Chanda  " and " Phoolon ka taaron ka sab ka kehna hai " on the most awaited Chitrahaar which used to be aired on Wednesday and Friday .  While listening to these songs I used to wonder that such loving siblings actually existed🤔. Me and my brother used to create a daily Mahabharata series at our home , our weapons ( bat , broom , etc etc ) putting real Mahabharata's weapons to shame . Forties are Fun😊

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!
