RAKSHABANDHAN - KAL AAJ AUR KAL
Rakshabandhan is round the corner , the markets decorated with various stalls adorned with beautiful , colourful rakhis. The shops shouting out The Rakhi offers , the hoardings displaying Kolkatta Rakhi , Rajasthani Rakhi n blah blah that brain starts doing somersaults inside the head . Does anybody differentiate or is an expert on recognising the particular Rakhi , Well I am not . My earliest memory of Rakshabandhan is the DD national playing the songs " Mere bhaiya mere Chanda " and " Phoolon ka taaron ka sab ka kehna hai " on the most awaited Chitrahaar which used to be aired on Wednesday and Friday . While listening to these songs I used to wonder that such loving siblings actually existed🤔. Me and my brother used to create a daily Mahabharata series at our home , our weapons ( bat , broom , etc etc ) putting real Mahabharata's weapons to shame .
